ANOTHER LITTLE PAINTING FROM AMI

Again, a little painting in the Stillman & Birn watercolor sketchbook using my Holbein watercolor travel kit.

Some beach finds I picked up from a walk on Bean Point on Anna Maria Island the day before.  Models on top, painting on bottom.

Another day in warmth and sunshine with a cafe con leche and then a walk on the beach.  How wonderful it was to get away from below 0F temperatures for a while.

These small pieces make up for some good practice. Great job.

These are beautiful studies. So glad you are able to get away and paint. I wish I was there painting things in actual warmth - don't quite remember what it's like anymore.

These are beautiful sketches - look more like full bodies paintings to me!

Beautiful job, Rhonda. You draw from life so very well.

Thanks so much for all the positive comments, Asit, Katherine, Deb, Sherry and Sadami :) I slow down and look more carefully when I draw from life but there are still mistakes - or bad turns (as will be evidenced by a later post in my sketchbook! ha ha)

Thanks, Carol. I tried to keep it delicate and light :)

Anna Maria Island ... a beautiful place .. Just a couple hours from me..
Another one is Sanibel Island and Captiva right outside of Ft. Myers.

Our intent was to visit Sanibel and Captiva, but we haven't done that yet. Maybe next time! Oh, to live in Florida this time of year!!!
