AND SO IT CHANGES

Using a mix of white gesso mixed with water and acrylic matte medium, I covered over bits and places on the original painting.  Then added more in using the same materials as the original painting = watercolor, walnut ink, water soluble graphite pencils, watercolor inks, etc.  Whatever comes to hand, I use to make marks and changes.

It's still too close to the original so more changes to come.  I just want to see where this one ends when I've finished (or cannot add anything more to the paper).

Dear Rhonda - I think I am seeing those beloved crows showing up in this one. Looking good friend. Have a great weekend.

Yes, Debbie, there are definitely a couple (or more) birds in there :).

Hi Rhonda, at first I didn't notice the crows, then suddenly there they are! so pleased they are included in your lovely and colourful artwork. I wonder if you will know when to stop! It is tempting to just keep going at times.

Yes I see the changes and additions, and like them.. You've always had that creative mind to change things in a good way.. I always loved those pieces you were doing just a while back, collages, and shapes etc.
I've taken a new direction for now and appreciate your input.. Thanks so much for the visits and the comments.

Wherever it is going, I am following. Love it, Rhonda.

Thanks, Caroline. The crow shapes are the only things I consciously added - doesn't mean they'll remain but, so far, I like them. It's just that I know I need to go in and erase or mute a lot of this so it's not overpowering...we'll see where the stages take me.

Thanks so much, Jennifer Rose (I'll try to not obliterate the lines so there is that energy in the painting).

Thanks, Barbra Joan, you are too kind about my fumblings with paint and paper :)

Thanks, Chris, glad to have you following along with wherever it goes.
