PALIMPSEST CONTINUES

Using watercolor, thick, water soluble graphite pencils, resists (a white candlestick), and walnut ink, I covered the whole sheet (a half sheet of Arches 140# coldpress).

Next = to remove, add, change what's there to become something else...we'll see where the muse takes me.

Can't wait, Rhonda, though it is pretty cool as it is.

My goodness Rhonda you are so creative, I disappear from blogging land for a few days and return to see bunny peeps for Easter, Wrens, a crow that isn't a crow! and now the most amazing piece of art where you are adding colour and marks while something of the original remains, how awesome is that! It looks really lovely too! Keep up the great work and sorry I couldn't comment on all of your work ... in a few words...they are all wonderful!!

Rhonda thanks so much for your encouragement.. Coming from you (Ms. Creativity) means a lot. I've gotten this idea in my head and decided to run with it. It's definitly a jolt to do all of it from that space in my head we call a 'brain'. LOL !!You always do such wonderful pieces and just jump in with whatever suits you... I love it...
Maybe that's what inspired me.. to take a new turn.

Thanks for the positive omments about this one, Chris, Caroline, and Jennifer Rose :). We’ll see where it goes together!!
Barbra Joan, you are on a roll here so just keep going until you want to do something else. Me, I think exploring new stuff keeps me interested in my own little art room and supplies to see what I can do. I appreciate your comments!!
